Butterflies on Combe Hill, Compton Dundon

Combe Hill is currently alive with butterflies along the tracks and where the sunshine penetrates the woods.  Brown Argus, Speckled Wood, Peacocks, Green-veined Whites and Clouded Yellows. For those that like that sort of thing, there are huge gatherings of Blow flies and Parasitic flies on the warm woodwork. Woodland and field grasshoppers are in good numbers also.
