One of the more spectacular benefits of ringing birds in Langport on the Curry Rivel side of the river is that the site is on the flight path of the Common Cranes on Aller Moor. Today was slightly different as the fly past was completely silent. Are these the no-hopers who have been excluded from the prancing breeding displays?
