A hidden treasure

I would be the first to admit that Langport Water Treatment Works in the parish of Curry Rivel is not my first port of call for a day’s bird watching but… Once again it has excelled with the number of fully fledged Grey Wagtails (shown here) and also Pied Wagtails and currently it is the favoured spot for a bit of pre-migration fattening-up for Chiffchaffs, Swallows and House Martins. Worth a look and a nice stroll down a peaceful country lane.
