Group Visit to RSPB Reserve at Greylake

On the first day that snow fell on the Levels, some of the Heart of the Levels group visited Greylake bird reserve, guided by Mark Pollock and assisted closely by the RSPB reserve staff and volunteers. An entertaining morning followed with excellent views of wildfowl and waders including information on some of the other wildlife to be found there. An expanded description can be found on theĀ link to Venetia Caine’s personal blog. Thanks to all who attended, guided us, and kept us entertained on a cold morning, and to Venetia for the photographs.
